Account Manager – Renewable Energy

Your role on the team
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our partner network and client portfolio within the transportation, real estate, and/or onshore wind sectors. You will collaborate with the sales team to grow our commercial activities: following up on leads, identifying market opportunities, maintaining relationships with strategic clients and partners, and closing deals.
Thanks to your experience in renewable energy and energy storage, you know where the opportunities lie, listen closely to customers’ needs, and translate those needs into smart, future-proof solutions. With your enthusiasm and clear communication, you immediately demonstrate the value Repowered adds to their installations and ambitions.
Here are some of your responsibilities:
- Actively identifying and capitalizing on new commercial opportunities in the transportation, real estate, and onshore wind sectors.
- Building and maintaining relationships with strategic clients and partners.
- Translating market and customer trends into innovative services and offerings.
- Representing Repowered at relevant conferences and events.
- Drafting contracts and commercial proposals.
- Work with the customer success team to ensure a smooth onboarding process and build long-term customer loyalty.
What do you bring to the table?
- A completed associate's degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development, including a relevant network within the transportation, real estate, and/or onshore wind sectors.
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems and energy storage.
- Strong commercial skills: You are results-oriented, recognize opportunities, and know how to turn them into long-term partnerships.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.

A gross monthly salary between €4,299 and €7,002 (based on a 40-hour workweek).

Where will you be working?
Repowered has offices in Groningen and Amsterdam and operates largely on a hybrid basis. The sales team is based in Groningen, but you’ll regularly be traveling to clients throughout the Netherlands. That’s why this position can be based in either Amsterdam or Groningen. If you’re based in Amsterdam, we’d appreciate it if you’re willing to travel to Groningen regularly during the initial period to coordinate and collaborate with the team.
