Who is it for?
This subsidy program for flexible electricity consumption is available only to organizations with a contracted transmission capacity* of 100 kW or more.
*The maximum amount of electricity you are allowed to draw from your grid connection.
Why do you want to do this?
Network congestion is an increasingly significant challenge for many organizations and institutions. For example, “traffic jams” on the grid result in long wait times to get a new connection. Or it may not be possible to increase your grid connection capacity. And that stands in the way of your company’s growth or sustainability efforts. By gaining insight into the potential for flexibility within your company, you can work toward an affordable, growth-proof, and sustainable energy supply. The subsidy can even be used to develop solutions such as energy hubs. This ensures your organization remains future-proof.
What is it?
This Flex-E program helps you explore and investigate the possibilities for a flexible energy supply. There are three “options”:
- Flexibility Scan: This scan provides you with greater insight into the possibilities for flexible electricity use within your organization.
- Feasibility Study: You can receive a grant to assess the feasibility of flexibility solutions for your business.
- Flexibility Measures: If you are convinced of the solutions, you can use this grant to implement measures that will make your energy supply more flexible.
How does it work?
Applications for the grant can be submitted from April 1 through October 15, 2025. The RVO subsidizes 50% of the costs of conducting the scan or feasibility study. Would you like to take action now? In that case, the RVO will cover 35% of your costs. You apply for the grant for one of the three components. Have you already completed a component within the application period? If so, you may also apply for a grant for another component.
